Creative Retreat & Cultural Home Base

Casa del Sol is a VOZ NYC creative retreat and cultural home base in Cartagena, Colombia.
Rooted in the Caribbean and shaped by soft luxury and tropical modern design, Casa del Sol was imagined as a place to slow down, create, and reconnect with place. It exists at the intersection of culture, light, and storytelling — where mornings unfold gently and the rhythm of the city is always present.
Designed for writers, creatives, and thoughtful travelers, Casa del Sol offers an intentional environment for focus, rest, and inspiration. It is defined not by speed or spectacle, but by warmth, texture, and the quiet beauty of being somewhere meaningful.
What Casa del Sol Is

- A creative retreat for writers, artists, and storytellers
- A cultural home base in Cartagena
- A space shaped by Caribbean light, design, and rhythm
- A long-term VOZ NYC project rooted in place and intention
Casa del Sol will host creative residencies, short stays, and curated moments centered on rest, inspiration, and cultural connection.
The Project
Casa del Sol is currently in development.
A limited number of early creative stays will begin in January 2026, with a full opening planned for February 2026.
As the space evolves, Casa del Sol will continue to grow as both a retreat and a gathering place — reflecting VOZ NYC’s belief that stories live not only on the page, but in the spaces we create.
Casa del Sol is imagined as a place to return to — again and again.
